Kenda is originally from Pennsylvania, where she grew up behind the scenes on her parents’ Western movie sets. She now resides in Yukon, Oklahoma, where she has served as a regional coordinator for the Oklahoma SCBWI and as a Best in Rhyme Award committee member and judge.
