Claire Shorrock is a freelance illustrator based in Bristol, where she studied at the University of the West of England, graduating in 2011 with a BA (Hons) in illustration. In 2011 she won the Bristol Short Story Prize cover competition, and received “highly commended” in the Macmillan Prize competition for her picture book Magnus, which was exhibited in the Gallery at Foyles in London.
