Laura Francesca Filippucci was born in Milan, Italy, where she graduated in Illustration at the Istituto Europeo di Design. She later specialized in Children’s Book Illustration at the School of Visual Arts, New York. She lives in Milan with her husband, also an illustrator, their three children, and some goldfish. Since she was very small, her main interests have been drawing and natural history.
