Jocelyn Slack
Jocelyn’s childhood memories include a home filled with canvases, sculptures and the smell of turpentine and oil paints. She was allowed to work on many projects with her mom’s wonderful array of artist’s materials. Jocelyn attended the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, California and studied for several summers at the Banff School of Fine Arts in Alberta, Canada.
Jocelyn divides her time between Garden Valley, Idaho on the South Fork of the Payette River and Wilson, Wyoming. Her work as an artist has included murals, sandblasted glass, magazine illustration, logo design, and T-shirt and fabric design. She also produces limited edition prints.
She and her husband love to ski, run rivers and hike. They have a daughter, Luna, two cats and nine chickens.
