Elizabeth Traynor

Elizabeth Traynor’s earliest memory of art was being five and discovering that red paint + yellow paint = orange paint. After five years of Saturday classes at the Delaware Art Museum, she chose art as her career, and has been an illustrator since graduating from Rhode Island School of Design in 1981. Elizabeth loves illustrating birds, animals, and children, but enjoys drawing almost anything. Working in either scratchboard or watercolor, her award-winning illustrations have appeared nationwide. She is represented by Gerald & Cullen Rapp in New York City. She lives in Natick, Massachusetts with her cat, Junebug, and Sammie, a small dog who thinks he is big and loves brussel sprouts.
